Ultrasonic bonding equipment mainly consists of ultrasonic generator and roller, the main components of ultrasonic generator are horn, power supply and transformer. A Horn, also known as a radiator, focuses sound waves onto a single plane; a roller, also known as an anvil, focuses heat released from the Horn of an ultrasonic generator.
The bonded material is placed between the ultrasonic generator "Horn" and the roller in continuous operation and is bonded together under low static force. A FREQUENCY CONVERTER CONVERTS ELECTRICITY INTO HIGH-FREQUENCY ELECTRICITY, which is then converted into an ultrasonic vibrator, which is then converted into vibration energy, which is transmitted to the horn by an amplification system (intensifiers) , the acoustic tool immediately comes into contact with the material to be bonded. These super acoustic frequencies cause mechanical pressure between the molecules of the material, releasing heat, breaking down the molecular bonds in the material, causing the material to melt at the point of adhesion, and then applying mechanical pressure to bind two or more layers of material together.
